Visit the picturesque surroundings of Dolgellau, Porthmadog, Beddgelert and Llanberis to find that ideal gift for family and friends or just relax by the quiet street corner sipping Welsh tea and tasting ‘bara brith’ (famous Welsh cake). Snowdonia is also a land of castles – Caernarfon, Conwy and Harlech, built by Edward I, are amongst the best-preserved mediaeval fortresses in Britain – and World Heritage Sites If you are looking for quality fishing and traditional Welsh hospitality, set amongst beautiful countryside and coastline, then this is the area for you.
There can be few areas other than Gwynedd where there is such diversity for anglers. Catch wild brown trout, salmon and sea trout on the many and varied rivers including the Llyfni, Mawddach, Wnion and Glaslyn. For roach, perch, pike and gudgeon, Llyn Tegid is the place to be.
